I have some crazy ass parents. I lived in the dorms freshman year, and at home sophomore year.

I NEED OUT. Should I live in a dorm by myself and eat crappy dorm food or in an apartment with an idiot roommate?

Discuss.

It would be cool to have a roommate that played poker online.

Why don't you get a cool roommate?

Get a idiot roommate, it's a good learning experience. You will be forced to deal with idiots you're whole life, so get your practice in now.

Preferably, find one who is a responsible drunk, they are lots of fun (i.e. gets drunk every weekend, but not enough to fail out of school or [censored] on your bed).

IMHO.

I do, none of them live in Pittsburgh. And if they do, they like living with their parents.

Put up a classified ad for women only.

I've always wanted to live with a hot woman. You can give her a discount on rent if you can watch her shower or if she walks around naked a couple times a month.

I think your main issue is to just not live at home

Solve that first and everything else will fall into place

FWIW, I prefer living in apartments but that's just how I roll.

Get an apartment with two scantily-clad women who like pillowfights.

OBVIOUSLY.

No need to read this thread first. If you are not living in your own apartment after freshman year of college, you are missing out on one of the best part about college.
Get a roomate--idiot or not--ASAP!
