Forgive me if this has been asked repeatedly but I was wondering the true value of medium pocket pairs in a heads up setting. I know that they should be pushed when you are either really low or really high on chips, however I am wondering if it is the correct move when the stacks are about equal? Is pushing all-in with 88 when it's pretty clear that they have overs wise? I know that it's a 55/45 advantage yet I can't help thinking that there will be better spots against most players. Yet I hate passing on small edges. Thoughts?
