Empire freeroll last night. 56 players left out of 332; top 50 pay but only the final table is worth the effort. I have about 3k chips; the small blind (big stack at the table) has about 10k and the big blind has about 3k. Blinds are 75/150.

Folded to me in MP and I raise to 600 with TT. SB calls and BB makes it a thousand. I call and the SB calls.

Flop comes 327 rainbow and the SB bets another thousand. He's aggressive and known for trying to steal pots. BB folds and I go all in. SB turns over 7Jo and catches a jack on the river to knock me out of the tournament.

Did I play this one correctly?

I make it 1000-1200 to go when it's your turn to act. If reraised, I'm all in preflop. If my chips aren't in preflop, I'm pushing any non ace flop.

Raises 4xBB in MP with TT
Called by small blind with J7o
SB flops TP, bets, and calls all-in
SB sucks out

You've just summarized my entire 2 year online playing experience

You're play was fine.

If the SB is aggressive and likes to try to steal pots, I move in preflop. You don't want to be put in the situation where the flop comes AQx and he takes the pot from you with 77.

Don't be so results orriented!!!

You got him to call your raise when you were a 70/30 favorite before the flop. Then, you got all your chips in when you were an 80/20 favorite on the flop. What better spot could you possibly be hoping for?

People shouldn't post simple complaints re their bad beats.
