OK, first of all, I know that six years ago called and espoused that they want their thread back. That's funny when people do that.

Anyway, what a gorgeously delirious movie.

Saying it ripped off the French film is unfair. Why use such a negative connotation? Plenty of American films are remade in foreign languages. I believe there's an Italian version of Groundhog Day just released.

Vanilla Sky is very good and at least equally enjoyable when you watch it a second time.

I didn't mean ripped off in a bad way. I realize it's just a remake. PS: it's spanish not french. but yeah i shouldn't have said ripped off. i do enjoy vanilla sky a lot.

Can you explain this to me? I mean, seriously, some of the quotes:

"I swallowed your cum, that means something"

The people in that movie seemed so dumb, highschoolish, and materialistic it made me sick.

Plus I mean the whole concept seems like a rip off of the Matrix or Total Recall.

I heard it was crappy. One of those stupid movies that make you think what you're seeing is real, but it's all a dream.

I hope you're not implying Desperado is a rip off of a El Mariachi.

I've been up for like 18 hours now on 5 hours of sleep. Not a lot for a poker player, but still good...

Anyways, just wanted to say that this post is RIDICULOUSLY GOOD! The fact that it's his first post makes it even better.

Here's to many more! /images/graemlins/smile.gif

This was a terrific movie. I have to laugh at people who do not understand this movie.

Its on the same level as The Village. You either hate it or love it.

There was nothing more amusing then watching the simple minded people walking out of the movie theater complaining about how stupid either of these films were.

Where in fact you actually need to be some what intelligent to understand these films.

The film was pretentious bullcrap. Both lead female actors annoyed me, as did the glorification of cruise. The writer was trying to be too clever; the twists and levels of the film appear to have been constructed for their own sake, rather than an entertaining presentation of a single idea.

I liked the movie... except Cameron Diaz made my skin crawl the whole time. Her character in that movie could have been my ex. Creepy.
