Yummy....pork is soooo tasty. I have a 7.5 pound loin roast smoking over hickory and alder right now.
It has been called "the other white meat". Is it actually considered white meat?

Alder wood? Who cooks with alder wood? I mean, maybe if you have NO hickory, but you apparently do.

That is very interesting. I've never smoked with alder. I've used hickory, mesquite, pecan and apple. Never alder. Let us know how it turns out.
