So following up against 1-2 opponents is a +EV play? Again on the turn after a check/call too?

I like the flop bet; against 2 random opponents your A-high may even still be the best hand. When you get called on a draw-free board like this, the turn bet is a bit more debatable -- if both call, I will usually check behind on the turn. Absent a read, HU I lean towards firing again too.

In this spot I will be more likely to fire another bet if I know that my opponent often calls on drawless boards and then folds on the turn. Some opponents will auto-call these flops, others will call with weak hands and often release on 4th street.

I find these situations come up often and it pays off to note down these things.
