Background
I bought into Party for the first time about a year ago and promptly dropped my first buy-in playing the $6 SNGs. I bought in again and dropped that one too. I switched to Pokerroom "because the structure at Party turns it into a crapshoot". I got up a bit at Pokerroom, bought into Party again and lost it again. I switched back to Pokerroom, vowing never to go back to Party.

Then I found this site. I read everything I could find about SNG structure, as well as a good portion of material from other forums. I got up about $600 at Pokerroom and bought back into Party because of the faster games. This time, I finally felt like I understood the structure and how to adjust to it properly. I stopped seeing flops early unless I had a major hand. I stopped being scared to take a hit or bust out on the bubble. I stopped being scared to push marginal hands.

I'm very pleased with my progress so far. I really can't ask for much better in terms of raw statistics. As a disclaimer, if there's anything I've learned on here it's that 100 SNGs are statistically insignificant. Even so, I think it's good to gauge your progress every so often, and thus far, I'm very pleased. Thanks to everyone on here who has made my game better.

Plans
From here my plans are to try to get another 200 SNGs in at this level by the end of the month. If things are still going well, I'm moving up to the 20s on July 1. I'll keep you all updated on my progress.

I guess this wasn't much more than a shameless brag post, but at least I prefaced it with Low Content on the subject line. Thanks for reading.

Way to go and keep it up. I myself just moved up to $10+1 SNGs roughly 10 days ago, somewhat trepidatiously but have been doing ok. Only 65 played so far, but will share my results at the end of the month.

Nice post. Keep up the good play and I'll look forward to your post after the next 200.

Well, your ITM is a little low, so that has me worried.

However, you going of the chizzain when you get ITM though.

I dunno, its hard to tell where you are going to be in your next 100 SNGs cause your stats are so bizzare to me at least.

I thought that high 30s was about what you should shoot for as far as ITM %. Since you say it's low, about what should I be shooting for there?

If you or others are curious, my total finish distribution breaks down to:

1st: 18
2nd: 13
3rd: 7
4th: 10
5th: 16
6th: 11
7th: 10
8th: 11
9th: 4
10th: 0

Again, I know it's hard to tell very much from just 100 SNGs. We'll see where I'm at after the next 100, but thanks for the feedback.

Your distribution is indeed unusual, but you can't tell anything after 100 tourneys.

Good luck moving forward.

After 100 tournaments, 38% ITM is fine.

Slim, thank you. Do you happen to have a link handy of the ROI confidence intervals as well? I'd love to see those.
