They're real in the sense that they'll still be in the pennant race when Labor Day rolls around. But, I think they played over their heads in April and most of May. Of course, pennants are often won by above average teams which find ways to win extra games.

The Orioles have settled down as of late. They're 8-10 since getting swept by the Tigers over Memorial Day weekend.

The Orioles said Erik Bedard will be out for another month at least, that sucks.

Yes they have cooled off some but are still playing very well.

Haven't been following too closely, that's definitely not great. I think their great hitting picks up some of their pitching weaknesses, but they have also been getting a lot of miles out of some young dudes. However I think they will come to Earth when the rest of the AL East sees them for the third and fourth times around.

The Orioles are for real.

Best hitting in the AL, Julio and Ryan are great relievers, and they have a very solid staff.

The Sox will still win the AL East though.
