View Full Version : Adventure of theSPM, Tour thru 2 Towns & a Valley

10-01-2001, 10:40 AM
The SPM took the tour bus Sunday and the journey turned out to be a trip to poker wisdom. The tour guide said, "good morning, Hold'em Players, we have a special tour plained for you today. We will be taking you on a scenic ride thru two Towns and a Valley. So hoop on aboard the 5-10 bus our first stop will be to the Valley of Patience (VoP)." Getting a seat on the bus took a little time however, you see the first bus was full at 9:00 a.m. and the bus driver, a Mr Dealer, was checking everyone's ticket. There was a guy with a ticket for the 10-20 bus on board but that bus was getting off to a late start. So Mr. Dealer took them around the block a couple two or three times. Then he got a call from the dispatcher, a Mr Floor, who told him to drop off his 10-20 ticket holder and to pick up the SPM.

The bus was loaded with four rocks, three guys from Boarder Town acting like the were born in the VoP. Two telephone employees, they were journeymen calling stations, and the SPM. Thank goodness the telephone employees were on board, other wise the visit to the VoP would have been boring. The tour guide pointed out that the number one industry in the VoP was wrist aerobics, called take a peek and release. Everyone practiced the technique except the telephone guys, they just couldn't get the hang of the release. The tour provided stale chips for refreshments. Anyone holding a hand full of nuts at the river, got stale chips from the blind rocks and some over used chips from the telephone guys. After about two hours on the 5-10 bus the dispatcher called the driver and told him to drop the SPM off at the 10-20 bus. They had an early cancellation, some guy lost his wallet and had to go home..

Up a stack of stale chips the SPM hooped on board the 10-20 bus, it was loaded with residents form Any2card Town. Being the Mayor of A2CT and a local celebrity everyone knew the SPM was on board. The bus was driving down Any2willdo Boulevard, this bus was full of action tourists who came to have a good time. One fellow had a heads up fight with an aggressive thug all the way to the river. Turns out the aggressor over played his hand an the caller won with an ace high. The SPM announced to all that a guy from Missouri was on board. The fellow almost fell out of his chair and asked, "how did you know I was born in Missouri." "It's the show me state," responded the SPM.

The SPM showed the out of control action junkies what he had learned in the VoP tour on the 5- 10 bus. In no time at all up three stacks and it was time for a late lunch. Back in a flash, the SPM wasted no time at the dinner, there were lose chips on the bus and he had hungry fingers. Looking down the SPM saw two cowboys and raised, the bus driver hit a bump in the road and the SPM was wounded by a stray bullet as he flopped out of his seat. Holding two hooks the SPM was back in the thick of it but the hooks got rusty from the river and chips began disappearing faster than white on rice.

Then a friend told the SPM, the tour guide had given all the residents of A2CT some holy water from the Fountain of Miracles, when he was at lunch. At the seventh hour the SPM, now on a roller coaster ride to chip disaster received some poker wisdom from the Tilt Fairy. If you can't beat- em join-em.

SPM,...home from the Land of Tilt and up a half a stack...

Glad you were able to take the tours through A2CT and the Land of tilt at discounted rates. I hear the price goes up for repeat customers though.
