You don't need his password to crack WinXP.

After he changes his password, use this method:

Hit F8 when you boot the comp.

Select the diagnostic/administrative option from the list of options(been awhile, not sure what exact name is).

When the login screen appears, hit Ctrl+alt+del, this will bring up a win2000 style login prompt.

For the login use Administrator or Admin if that doesn't work. Leave the password blank.

Voila, admin access to most WinXP boxes.

Also, if you need to crack a password, there are script-kiddy friendly cracking programs out there.

Except smart people like me have added an Administrator password, or disabled the admin account entirely.

That assumes access to the computer. It cannot be hacked remotely, because you have to insert the floppy. I am not too worried about being hacked in person. /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

i thought you ould only brute force .RAR's? me and my feriend fist learnt to do this in the summer of 2002, when we were 11, by going to neworder.box.sk, im not sure if they have any brute force crackers for other things.

You can brute-force anything. It's simply a question of how long it's going to take.

This would be a really short brute force.
