I'm thinking the river fills a gut str8 so call out
but the turn I think I wussed a raise (mp would likely cap)

Raise it uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuup on the turn, and bet the river.

Giving someone credit for AT or 9T is way too weinerish, (especially MP).

I don't think villian would be playing a gutshot draw like that on the flop/turn. Just be happy villian is stupid, and raise/reraise the whole way.

I'm confused. Why aren't we capping the turn? We have the nuts last I checked.

the raises into me had me second guessing at the time - afterwards I pretty much figured I should have raised again. Not sure if I should have bet or raised the river vs check / call.

If the turn had been capped, you have no worries about capping the river.

YOU HAVE THE NUTS ON THE TURN -- RAISE THE [censored] OUT OF THEM.

i don't get any of this play at all - why are you not 3-betting the turn and raising that river?

do you have him on A2 for the wraparound straight? /images/graemlins/smirk.gif

i'm wondering if you like money....

this post means hammer the turn and the river

You have to raise this turn. I could find at least another raise on the river.

the problem is that there aren't any monsters (you can't seriously think he hit his gutshot can you?)

not now in the cold light of day but at the time with 20 sec to act and being crazy raised... ya I slipped.

I am working on my betting (and folding) strateegies as I seem to do this (not max raise) on occasion (as well as not call down winners - but those are usually very close. I sometimes worry that I call down too many losers too.

*grunching*

MP has been staring you down since the flop. What else can he be dogging you with but AA. He must have seen that done on TV or something.

AT? No way. Kick his Ace all the way across the river.
