Sweet images/wallpapers {Big image(s)}

There was a thread a while back about the coolest images/pictures etc., and I remember some cool space shots in particular.

I am the proud new daddy of a Samsung 213t LCD monitor, and am looking for a really sweet image to use as a desktop background, 1600X1200 of course. So if you guys want to take this opportunity to show off your own backgrounds or share a good site to find some good ones- This is what I'm using right now:

This has been my desktop since I found it 2 years ago. I change it once in a while, but it always finds it's way back cuz it's so cool and subtle (I have no icons on my desktop except the recycle bin, so I like the unlcluttered look of this background):

Ordinarily I'd agree with you...

Except you're probably one of the only people I know of who hasn't had those mushrooms as his wallpaper at one time or another.

This place is ok. Personally, I love Shifted Reality (http://www.shiftedreality.com). Some of their wallpapers absolutely blow DB's out of the water. This (http://www.shiftedreality.com/cgi-bin/imagefolio/imageFolio.cgi?action=view&link=wall&image=jungle_ bath.jpg&img=30&tt=) has been my background for some time. Check it out.

Too bad you can't sort by dimensions. Actually I don't see the dimensions listed anywhere for any of the wallpapers. Maybe I'm lazy, but it sucks flipping through 20+ pages of wallpapers when very few or none of them might be the size I want, and not knowing the size from the thumbnail.

Dual monitor setups need to become more popular so it will be easier to find good dual monitor wallpapers!
