15/30
Button is decent. BB is tight. I am the SB with 6 /images/graemlins/heart.gif 5 /images/graemlins/heart.gif
Button raises. I call. BB calls.
4 /images/graemlins/heart.gif 8/images/graemlins/heart.gif 2 /images/graemlins/club.gif
I plan on checkraising the flop from the button. I check, SB bets. Button folds. I now call.
Turn is 4 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif; I check, BB bets. I raise.
Yeah?

With what whould he bet out the flop and fold the turn on a cr considering all the possible draws?

I think you should call on the turn unless you have a more specific read than "tight". I also think you're giving up too much value by calling the flop instead of raising.

A cr on the flop was better than on the turn IMO.

check call the turn.
as a rule though, low suited cards in teh sb suck. id be more concerned w/ your pf call than anything postflop in this hand. if the button is decent why in the world woudl you want to be OOP w/ low cards vs. a button raiser?
but, i USED to make these calls. i no longer do.

Heads up,I didn't think I should raise the flop from the BB bettor. These flop raises on the two flush board screams flush draw? no?
I would have check raised from the button against a steal that most likely missed and potentially three way pot.
This play isn't standard, but against a tight player, he may be able to lay something down since I'm representing the 4.
That's my "thinking" I guess.
Preflop call is debateable I agree.

It's a shorthanded, small pot, bro. High cards + position rule shorthanded pots. You have neither. Muck preflop.

Hmm. What's your limit of defense against a steal in the SB? This is definitely a leak of mine these blind calls.

From the button's perspective, his steal equity is pretty damn high, so in this situation, I'm inclined to play a few more hands. All aces/pairs get reraised, along with K8o and up and QJ, QT, maybe JT.

So you're not calling. Only re-raising to represent strength. gotcha. I call far too often. Thanks.
