Is this a hand where the very high chance of picking up T600 outweights the small risk of running into a monster and finishing 4th, or would you just play it safe here?

Depends on the calling range of the opponents. At the $55's to $215's, this should be very easy to slide all of your chips towards the middle, but getting called here would really suck.

You've got 8.5x BB... Meh... I be weak-tight and fold this spot, but I really think pushing might be correct, and if it was just a bit better spot, I'd push.

This is a push at nearly any 1000 chip game I have ever played. I would also say its a push at most 33s during the day when us 2+2ers are grinding.

At any other game or time of day the calling ranges of your opponents might be too loose.
