Just finished a $1k guaranteed $22 buyin on Multi, there were only 20 entrants. I tried to lag it up early on, build a big stack, but just got crushed. Ended up making 5 rebuys, then the addon when it came time.
Finished second, so it wasn't that great, but it was a profit. Second to last hand, he flops a pair of nines, I turn an ace...river is a $200 9. Very next hand my AK doesn't outdraw his 66.
Gotta say my heart kind of dropped when I saw only the top three paid, and I had contributed ~14% of the prize pool /images/graemlins/laugh.gif But it all worked out.
When I was done, checked the mail, and HOH2 is here to make me feel better.
