bad spot for a continuation bet?

What do you think of the flop call? I guessed that I was up against an overpocket and had implied odds if I hit.

no reason to play the turn soft, right?

Very reasonable time to check behind on flop. Again I like to raise less than 60 preflop because it makes postflop easier for me. If I did bet the flop I wouldnt bet the full 125, becuase none of the draws are going anywhere anyway I think. I would absolutely fold to the check raise for 125 more. On the turn you are stuck of course.
