View Full Version : need to learn Italian this summer - recommend a book pls (help daryn)

Going to europe in august and will spend the bulk of my time in italy. I know a few words like "meatballs" and "romano cheese" but other than that, nothing.

I searched amazon theres like a thousand books. How to tell which one to get..? Anyone got a recommendation?

im teaching myself italian too since im going abroad to Rome for Fall

I have two books. one's like a textbook adn really advanced. the other is BARRON's "Learn Italian the Fast and Easy Way" that is good. 4 CDs and teached alot u need to know to get by. It's $60 but i recommend it
