Was probably curious as to what Steve had!

a misclick perhaps. if player "a" is world class, he is probably playing a few tables at the same time and misclicked, because there is no way that anyone calls this. his pot odds were aweful and called a 6x the pot bet with jack high..."he called me with jack high!!"

Gigabet wanted to see what he had, put him on a worse hand, and thought he'd win no matter what.

He had a double-gutshot to go along with his J-high, so he had SOME showdown value.

lol

I don't accept the idea that he is drunk, a world class player is unlikely to be playing drunk & if he is this drunk he wouldn't be chip leader heads up in a $1k tourney. Nor do I believe accidental click!!

So my guess is he is screwing with his opponents head. He is still chip leader at the end of the hand, and his opponent is likely to play less than optimally after seeing his opponent call an all-in bet with J high.

Still doesn't seem +EV to me, but then i'm not very good!

I like how raptors threads now always end with the phrase "wtf is going on???"

ok he's no longer chip leader but still pretty much even.

i dont know if anyone saw the interview of the guy Johnny Bax on cardplayer.com where he talks about gigabet giving him a lesson where he said he didnt understand a word he said, it just reminded me of many of the posts gigabet writes.

I think giga is a fish in those hu sngs, lol...I hope he came back up in $, but I usually check who wins, and he was down 4-1, or 5-1 games to stevebets. I recommend him just playing full table sngs /images/graemlins/grin.gif

But it also is a weird bet from stevesbets on the river, he usually makes small value bets, and this bet smelled fishy to giga I guess. But to call with J high, you only beat a small hand range, where I think its hard to make this call profitable, as I would rather keep the big stack vs steve.

Unless your definition of doing VERY well includes constantly being in 5 figure debt, you have no idea what you are talking about. Please tell me this is sarcasm. Stevesbets is terrible.

Wow, BabIsASlut, you have no idea what you are talking about. I am the biggest owner out there. I'm currently in Las vegas playing in tons of WSOP events as we speak. I'm the best heads up player on Poker Stars. If the site weren't rigged, and I weren't the most unlucky player in the history of poker, id be a millionare already. The only better rounder I know of is Jtheace2.
That's all.

Dont you know there is a rule that anyone who regularly plays for a lot of money has clearly won a lot of money playing poker?
