Somehow a $10+1 managed to remain 3-handed at Level 9 (300/600), but I got a nice surprise. First and only time ever.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t600 (3 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

Hero (t1480)
BB (t1740)
Button (t4780)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, K/images/graemlins/diamond.gif.
1 fold, Hero bets t1480 (All-in), BB calls t880.

Flop: (t2960) J/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, Q/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 4/images/graemlins/spade.gif (2 players)

Turn: (t2960) T/images/graemlins/club.gif (2 players)

River: (t2960) T/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (2 players)

Final Pot: t2960

Results in white below:
Hero has Ad Kd (straight flush, ace high).
BB has 8d Ts (three of a kind, tens).
Outcome: Hero wins t1780.

And for the record, I took 2nd in this tourney. I guess my penance for snagging this beaut is having the other guy have AT+, KT+ every time I push HU. Bleh.

Nice hand, much more valid than how I made mine -- Q3o from BB, SB completed, we checked it around and basically there was a royal flush with the Q missing... I bet, he folded, I showed, and then I cried myself to sleep :P

nice hand again

i like the "results in white below" section here. it really ends the suspense - i thought he might have had you.

It's for the slow ones among us. /images/graemlins/wink.gif

I'm also posting this just in surprise that we were 3-handed at 300/600. Yeesh.

it happens from time to time. usually when the small stack doubles up, then the new small stack doubles up, then the new small stack doubles up, etc etc etc

Yeah, that's how this one was. I've had HU matches last into level 9, but never 3-handed. I would have tried to end this sooner, but my FE was absolutely 0 (BB called my bubble push for his whole stack with 64s. Yikes). Had to play it a little tenderly.
