OK,

My buddies and I play a weekly $20 STT. Tonight I busted out 6th on the following hand:

I am extremely shortstacked in the big blind at T1000 (I lost a huge coinflip -about 2000- when I went all-in from the button at T3000 with KJs and got called by 33 in the BB). Blinds are 250/500 and they are going up next hand to 400/800.

Six guys left. Medium-stacked tight player limps in UTG+1. Folds all around to the very tight short-stacked player (about double my chips) in SB. SB goes all-in.

Do I call with any two knowing that SB has a high pocket pair? In other words, do I make a call as an extreme dog when I am getting almost 3:1 pot odds even though it probably means I am out of the tourney? This is probably my last stand for a large pot.

I call here. This is a -EV spot to be sure, but there is definitely worse stuff down the road. Plus, SB should be pushing somewhat of a wide range here. I do expect to see some loosening up in this spot.

What about limper in early position?
