I came in 2nd in the PS 100+9 stud-HI tournament today. I am a huge luckbox. This pocketed me a cool 480$. This was of course after I had recently busted out of the 100+9 stud-hi/lo. I got very lucky to get 2nd but it seemed like all the other players where getting lucky also...is stud-hi just a game of luck? jk...both stud-hi and stud-hi/lo tournaments take tremendous luck to win. Just thought I would self bloat.

Well done, although the risk/reward ratio of this tournament does not seem very good. Risk $109, and win $480 for second? I guess there are not very many participants?

Nice score, man. Ive never played anywhere near as high as a $100 tourney- the payouts for the $20s seem to be just as good, if you're able to wade through a bigger feild.

Any tournament is going to require a little (sometimes a lot) of luck to make a big win, and stud seems to be even more so than NLHE.
