I didn't really like 1 that much because there was lots of boring stuff like "character development."

Plus the fight wasn't very good, IMO.

I've seen plenty of polls concerning the best Rocky film, but I don't recall a ranking thread... Excuse me if that is the case, though.

1, Best picture, enough said
3, Mr. T, enough said
2, Better than 4 or 5, but no way it beats Clubber
4, Like Tommy Gunn goes anywhere but at a far distant #5

I did manage to catch a Friday Night Fights rerun early Saturday on ESPN. They showed a shot of Tommy Morrison in the crowd. The man looked like a complete wreck. The only thought I could think to myself about him was "Just Kill Yourself".

I just skimmed through the thread, to see if anybody thought any of the films was worse than 5. Just one, so far.

For "favorite", I've got 4 3 2 1 5

For "best", I've got 1 2 3 4 5

I’m surprised that many of you have rocky 4 ranked 3rd and 4th, why? Rocky 4 is clearly the best, and if you disagree you must be a communist.

4,3,1,2 - Actually, 4 may have been the worst movie of the bunch, but I'm a sucker for the whole Cold War thing. I also think the 2nd round in IV was the best round in the entire series...
"He's cut! The Russian is cut!". I use this line frequently in different facets of life when somebody's aura of invincibility takes a hit. People look at me like I'm insane, but I find it funny.
The corner-clearing brawl at the end of that round just puts it over the top.
