after watching live at the bike with a machine. id be really nice if they could get them, but they'd have to be at all the tables for it to be fair, which in lies the problem cuz there are a lot of tables to be given a machine

Acccording to Matt Savage, the WPT at Bay 101 used automatic shufflers.

also, they would probably need a bunch of back-ups, but would really only need the big quantity for the 3 days.

guess it would be a mess and also expensive.

2 dealers per table and 2 decks would be soooo much better

The Bike only use the machines in cash games and not in tournaments. I actually want to see the dealer shuffle. Keep the machines out.

they played without them until enough people got knocked out that every table had them. I think they had about 20 tables with shufflers, so they used them for almost the entire tournament.

thats because bay 101s tables already have auto shufflers. the rio's tables do not. maybe the wsop should be right here in california? :P

they did, but not every table had them installed, so they had to wait until about 6-7 tables broke and all the remaining tables had them, then they started using them.
