This is my first post, so hoping to get some good evaluations.

A few hands before this hand, I had raised t1200 PF w/ AK
and ended up splitting a pot when another (shorter) stack pushed w/ AK after my 1200 raise. I had been playing fairly tight.

My 1200 pf raise with this hand was basically trying to steal the blinds and antes, (total of t825), and if I was called, make the best of it. Depending on the flop, I would have folded to any real heat, unless I thought I could bluff Villian off. The table seemed to be steal-happy, yet fairly tight.

My questions are 1) is this play totally unreasonable ? and 2) would you have done anything diffrent from the flop onward ?

Results at bottom: Thanks!

I don't like the PF raise against shorty here. Unless he's absolutely brain dead (and I mean pithed) he's going to call with any two, and you're not that far ahead of his any two. (Against a random hand you win 51.7% of the time).

I bet out this flop, and probably go broke right along with you.

yeah, man, no need to get involved in this pot. You know that at the least, BB is calling and EVERYONE will see that you are open raising with T9o in MP. T9o is not a good holding. Folded to me in the SB, I might raise it. Faced with two Weak/Tight players in the blinds, I might raise it from the CO or Button. Otherwise, fold. Everytime. As for the flop. BINGO!!!! however, I hate giving free cards to QJ/KQ or even 22. Also, I'm always betting on the flop. I wouldn't want to do something suspicious just because I hit it big. So throw something out there. 1/2 pot at the least. If you want, you can go for the chk/rz on the turn if he calls the flop.
