Similar to a hand CDC posted earlier this week, I did this:

Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (9 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 3/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 7/images/graemlins/heart.gif.
1 fold, UTG+1 calls, 1 fold, MP2 calls, 1 fold, CO raises, Button calls, SB calls, Hero calls, UTG+1 calls, MP2 calls.

Flop: (12 SB) 5/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 6/images/graemlins/club.gif, 5/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (6 players)
SB checks, Hero bets,

BB is a moron, very loose, very passive, sees most showdowns. He's probably the reason I should not have tried this move. The other main reason is that this was a raised pot and folks owuld be more likely to stick around--they'd also expect me to c/r a 5.

You seem to have some self esteem issues.

You shouldn't be so harsh on yourself. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

I didn't read CDC's post, so I don't have any context, but I still don't get it. I guess it could thin the field a bit, but an over pair and overcards are never folding here. What's the plan for the turn?

HAHAHA. I meant UTG. UTG is a moron. Great post.

Either everyone folds the flop or I turn a 6? Seems pretty thin, huh?

Seriously, your hand id quite different from CDCs

1) He was bluffing into 2 opponents, you are bluffing into 4 (excluding SB).

ii) He was betting in a small pot, where no one had shown preflop strength. You are betting into a big pot where CO, Button and SB have indicated strength.

ii) His gutshot was to the nuts. Yours is not.

I couldn't agree more. I wasn't thinking "this is what CDC said to do" or anything like that. I've been doing a lot of auto-bluffing in this spot.

Autobluffing into 4 players in a raised pot seems like a leak.
