Ok, so it was only $150. I was playing 1/2 got down to $75 and something possessed me, I swear, to play 2/4. I think I played preflop pretty well especially on the 2/4 table.

I have just read SSHE and obviously need to reread it.

Would someone be willing to take a look at my Hand History? Maybe give me some advice especially post flop? I would appreciate it.

Thanks in Advance.

If you can pare it down to 2 or 3 hands at a time that you're in doubt about, I'm sure this forum as a whole would be happy to make comments, as would the appropriate specific forum (Small Stakes Limit in this case).

Post the hands in question in the small stakes forum. Read the micro limit faq first and use the converter to post them. This will make it easier to read.

As for taking a shot at 2/4 with $75, you should have expected to lose your bankroll. That's not even 20BB.

Sounds like you just need to reload and give it another shot, just not at 2/4 this time.

online 2/4 is a much tougher game than live 4/8- remember that before sitting down. as for your 'bankroll': consider that the consensus around here is that a winning player needs to maintain a 300BB (300 big bets, for 2/4 that would mean $1200) roll in order to avoid the possibility of a bad run of cards that wipes them out.

If you're gonna deposit another $150 (I'd actually reccomend $200, so you can take full advantage of the 'granny' bonus at paradise) you should start playing at the .25/.50 level (i know that seems really small- it is- crawl before you walk, baby steps, and all that) and focus on becoming a winning player. it will take a few months to build that money into an adequete roll for the 2/4 games, but by the time you get there, you'll be god enough to handle it.

go to the sticky post at the top of this forum and find the link "building a bankroll in the micros" it lays out a great plan for what i've just described.

SSHE is not a begginner book by any means, it's actually pretty advanced. I'd suggest taking a look at Lee Jone's "Winning Low Limit Hold 'em" if you haven't already. post hands on the micro and small stakes forums for specific advise.

Is the Granny bonus still good? I checked bonuswhores.com and none is listed. Thanks.

Yes, the GRANNY bonus is still good. I cleared it last week. It took 11 hours of 3-tabling at $.50/$1.00 and worked out to a +6.3 BB/100 on top of my winnings. Nice!

granny bonus is always good. the reason you didn't see it on BWs is that it's here- look under the classifieds- you must download through the link there in order to recieve the bonus.

And whatever you do, don't put the granny code in the referred by box when you sign up, only use it when you deposit.

Ok, so it was only $150. I was playing 1/2

This was your first mistake.

Unless you are aware of how big of a RoR you have playing with only 75 BBs, and are just taking a 'shot', I don't see why one would do this.

Your assumtion is that since you lost your bankroll, you played bad. Not necessarily true with such a small bankroll.

Can it be used if I already have an account and just want to make another deposit?

Thanks.

I think I got confused about how much money I needed to play at a certain level. Some reason I though it was 100bb but I think that might have been 100 antes I was thinking about.
