Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t100 (6 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

Button (t1220)
SB (t1425)
Hero (t1450)
UTG (t970)
MP (t400)
CO (t2535)

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q/images/graemlins/spade.gif, Q/images/graemlins/heart.gif.
2 folds, CO calls t100, Button calls t100, SB completes, Hero is all-in

Looking back, I'm suspecting this is a poor push. I'm in good position to steal and build my stack from here (although it is a Party 6), it seems unneccessary to take this risk. Also, if I want to steal raise, I probably need to raise atleast 500 right, with the presence of the limpers? I didn't like raising since I have to call a push at this limit. Checking and seeing a flop looks more attractive now to me. Thoughts?

With the dead money in the pot, Im probably pushing too with QQ.

Stop looking back. There were 400 chips in the pot. Take them, eventhough it didn't work out that way this time.

I'm guessing you got snapped by ace-rag. It happens to the best of us. You should definitely be playing QQ for all of your chips here (or at least trying to). Sorry this hand didn't work out.

UTG calls with AA. WTF...
Anyways, I was actually not sure when I pushed whether it was the right play.

Thinking about not pushing should be a crime, let alone not pushing. You have Queens. Pick the pot up.

Well, you got limp-reraised. I bet it happens in this spot 1/10 times. I don't think I'd fold QQ to anything less than the guy actually showing me aces or kings.

Or 8 all-ins in front of you. :P I really want to see that one day. That's my greatest desire. First hand, 8 all-ins in front of me.

Pushing is fine. So is raising to 400 or so to get action. But pushing is preferable, IMO.

You're worried that you took risk? Bah. Think of it this way--would you have folded to a standard raise by the AA limper?

Hint: Don't say yes.

Right, like I said, this is just one of those inevitable spots.
