Got to the final table 9xbb
had several run-ins with villian
Got to HU and got totally outplayed by villain, I suck
But what about hands six and seven , should I have made a big stack stand with one, both or none to get villain out of there.

Finally lost it and got it allin as a 3-1 dog AK vs AT ugggh

I have a problem with hands 4 and 5. You flop trip 8s and you try to bet him out of the pot? I don't like it. I make a much smaller bet and then maybe check the turn. Hand 5 you flop TP OE str8 draw and bet into the raiser. Why not let him bet it? You are obviously willing to die with this hand, so get some more money into the pot just in case he has naked overs instead of an overpair.

Hand 6 could be a call - he is an agro villian. Hand 7 I definately called.

I like how you played the first three hands.

Cheers for the reply CSC,
Hand 4 was player specific, (going back to hand 2 TT) but I did overplay this spot and was lucky villain had J-5 for two pair on the fop. So obviously he's going to the felt anyway. Without this good fortune I miss a lot of chips here.

Hand 5 I put 'villain two', on a diamond draw and wanted him to stubbornly pay for it (villain holding KdTd)

and yes
Hand 7 I wiffed my oportunity here.:(

Easy, not much experience on my part but I think you've got to put him all in on hand 7, you likely have the best hand, esp if he's been aggressive, and he still has enough chips to fold, I'd never call because you can't know if your ace is gud if you miss, so post flop will be tough. Hand 6 I let this one go he can't fold and your 60-40 at best so I wait for a better opportunity like hand 7.

But you got second so nicely played.
