Call both. Hand 1 is easy, cuz you have 66 and 3x BB, and other guys are desperate. When BB folds, you're getting 2:1 on the 150 chips you invested.

Hand 2 is also easy, because you need this pot to win, and if short stack wins, you're screwed anyway, so the best way to win AND get 2nd is by calling to reduce button's chances of getting second, improving your equity all around.

1. easy push, this is +EV.
2. if you call the other ss has to beat you as well, if you both lose to SB you get 2nd, so I'd call.

how many times today have we both replied 1st and 2nd to a hand question, and responded the same way (push all of them!)

Hand 1: Good play

Hand 2: Bad play, I think.

You fold, button wins. You have less than 1 BB. You will almost certainly get third place.
You fold, SB wins. 2nd place for you.

You call, button wins, SB gets second. 3rd place for you (no change).
You call, SB wins. 2nd place. (no change)
You call, button wins, you get second. You have 430 chips. Still alive.
You call, you win. Jackpot.

In other words, by folding, you do not improve your situation, NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS. By calling, you might improve your situation, and you make it less likely that the button will win the hand.
