For those that haven't figured it out:

Bot 10th: NY Mets
- C. Floyd homered to deep right, J. Reyes and M. Cameron scored

Walk off

3-2

Floyd had an otherwise hideous game. Struck out thrice.

you usually don't bat in the bottom of an inning in extra innings if you're winning.

1-4, 3Ks, 1 game winning walk off HR is a ok line,

the fact that they were losing in the bottom of the tenth makes it more... 1337?

Well, I certainly care; they're involved in a very tight division race in the best division in baseball.

Sober or slightly drunk and training for Vegas, does not chance my opinion that the Mets suck.

Jack, seriously, you think the Mets can hang with the Braves and Marlins the rest of the year? I can't believe the Nats are going to really keep going like they are, but I can't see the Mets being relevant, besides folding for someone making a last month surge, like the Phillies, down the stretch.

Just my opinion, of course. I agree it's a tough division.

Jack of Arcades

Sure they can. The Marlins are gonna fade, the Braves are injury wracked and not that good, the Nats are playing above their heads, the Phillies... might actually be the best team in the division, and the Mets are solid. I don't think any team in this division's going to lose more than 90... I'd rank them:

Phils
Mets
Marlins
Braves
Nats

But... I don't think much separates any of them, really. This is based on current injuries, etc.

Exactly. So I can continue hating on the Mets until proven otherwise. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Inside the park homer in the bottom of the ninth to tie it, then.......

What was amazing about the at bat was he hit a long shot that barely went foul that would have gave the Mets the game.

Then same at-bat hit a legit one.

I'll say this as a Yankee fan.

Met's games are way more fun these days; remind me of the 96 Yanks.

Must be how a New York Giant fan feels.

I think the Mets are for real this year. They have a great shot at 3rd place.
