I play 2/4 with a 2.3K bankroll. I thought I was overdoing it a bit. I guess not.

I keep a grand or so in Neteller for bonus whoring and $4-500 at a bunch of different sites.

I coldn't play with a BR of just 300 units. When I got to 1000 I really relaxed and started playing more aggressively. I'm still taking some shots at $30/$60 and $1000 NL, but usually stay within my 1000BB.

The poll is in BB's, not $'s. I don't see a problem with the ranges.

I would think Krishan is referring to BB's, not dollars. Some of us like to play with big rolls.

Back in January when I was playing .50/1, I thought that when I had 300BB for each level I would move up. I even planned on moving up to 15/30 at $9000.

As it worked out each time I moved up a level I noticed it was a little more difficult and the swings cut a bit deeper.

I did move up to 2/4 with 300BB, but did not move up to 3/6 until I had 400BB. After playing 3/6 for a while, I finally moved up to 5/10 with 500BB.

As it is right now, I am not planning on going to 10/20 with less than 600BB. And truthfully, I might wait until I have 750BB.

I find that I play better on a big roll. My biggest downswing so far has been 205BB, so it is not like I have had anything that would have broken a 300BB BR, but I just don't play well with that in the back of my mind.

I supplement my income with poker and would not be able to just pop off another 5,000 out of my own pocket. So If want to keep playing at my present limits, I need to be conservative with my BR management.

I like playing with 1000bb for each level. The minimum that I can play with and not get a little nervous is 300bb.

Not being a professional, I am more apt to take shots at higher levels. Right now I'm at 5/10 with a ~350 BB roll. If I were pro, nothing under 1000 BB.
