Second orbit, so no reads, really. I hadn't seen him play a hand yet, so he might be a little tighter than the average 1/2 donk, but who knows.

I think a closer title for this post would be "river call or fold?"

I think his most likely holding on the turn is AA-TT, with TT being pretty unlikely. And I wouldn't be surprised at all to see a 1/2 player go nuts with his AA here. Do you think he's got T9 or a lower set or something?

Personally, I would expect AT.

After the turn action I'd agree with this assessment. But after the river 3-bet, I'm putting him on TT, 99, 88, T9, QJ or an overplayed AA-JJ/AT. But there's no way I'd cap, I really don't see you getting 3-bet on the river by one pair after checkraising the flop, calling a turn raise and checkraising the river very often.

I think you best line here after the 9 hits is to lead the river, and call a raise instead of going for the C/R.

After the flop, I definitely ruled out TT, since I would expect a 3bet there nearly always. That, combined with the turn action, had me fairly convinced he was on AT or AA-JJ. I think my problem in this hand was that, while that may have been a good read given the information on the turn, I pretty much failed to adjust that read after the river information.

I did just call his 3bet, however, and he flipped up TT. Good call Spamuell.

Even though I have already seen the result of the hand I think this is an easy call. And I think the check-raise you did is the best play - you played perfect throughout the hand.
