How do you identify someone that plays better than you do?

i actually look for the players who play worse...

the player may not be better, he may be the same as you. but because youre used to worse players, the equal level player will seem like a big challenge, and appear better. ever thought of what itd be like to play agaisnt yourself on a full table?

i just try and decipher their skill level...but not in relation to mine, just in relation to expoitablitily, and how ill have to adjust for them. meaning, if they show that they know X and X, then theyll know if id do X or X so ill have to change it up a little against them....or not.

i never had thought of this before, but i think you have really helped me here bernie. found one leak already simply cause i had never used this simple tactic before. it has also helped me realize some of my stronger points too.

thanks
