AH the other side of the Party 50. I hate to post these hands, but I need someone to tell me this is the game I want to be in. My first major experience with 3 to 4 maniacs at one table. I felt lost. I got the feeling my big hands were worthless and I should stoop to their level and start playing crap. Thankfully I didn't.

What kind of hands do you guys play against these guys? I couldn't read anyones hands to save my life. Is this the game I'm supposed to be beating? Arggh. Sorry to rant, guess I need to get it off. I hate working so hard to build and these morons take it away.

Thanks for listening. Or reading, or whatever.

Ben

CO is vpip 90/ pfr 30 for my first 120 hands with him. Same guy as in hand 3.

Hand 1: You probably need to chill out on the turn, call the 3-bet.

Hand 2: Looks good, you only messed up if UTG2 is a total lag and you knew this during the hand.

Hand 3: If CO is passive/predictable postflop, you can consider folding the river. The pot is big, but you are behind UTG most of the time, and when you aren't, CO will usually have the hand he is representing. Otherwise looks good, I might just call CO's three-bet, looks pretty strong, if he's at all on the passive or weak-tight side that'd be cool, but capping is perfectly acceptable too.

Lastly, these things happen. Just play them right (you did pretty well), and in the end the money will come to you.

And in the future, venting/bad beat posts really clutter the forum and are generally not useful to those in the forum or to yourself except for psychological release, and you'd be better served to find another outlet for that.

Man up -- I know this because I need to do the same thing.

Hand 1: The donkbet/3bet is broadcasting to the world that he has a hand, and it probably involves a 3. Slow down after the three-bet.

Hand 2: WTF? I'm confused as hell myself. Punch a furry animal; that's all you can do really.

Hand 3: Honestly, I have no idea just what happened. I play it the same and hate myself while doing it.
