View Full Version : ATs turn decision -- I think this is interesting/tough

While I was posting my QQ hand (which may not be that interesting, but I just wanna make sure), this one came up:

My connection died in the middle of the hand briefly, so the HH is messed up. I'll do it by memory:

UTG (very LAG, esp. PF) raises, two cold-callers, I cold-call in MP1 with ATs, both blinds call. Six to the flop for 12 SB.

Flop is T85r, with one spade. SB checks, BB bets, UTG raises, 2 folds, I 3-bet, SB calls, BB calls, UTG calls. Four to the turn (12 BB).

Turn is a 9 (second club). SB bets, BB calls, UTG calls, Hero...

The SB calls 3-cold on the flop, then bets out on the turn that puts a 3-straight on board. If there were no callers, I think I'd be compelled to see the river, but here I'm not sure. It's obviously a huge pot now, but I'm just not sure that 2 pair/trip T's will take it. Given that you close the action, I don't know that a call is that bad, but I think I fold and move on.

Pot is so big I think I peel one off on the turn and fold the river unimproved.

shameless bump

call vs fold on the turn? If call, what's the river plan?

If you want to call, I'd instead raise as the last money I put into the pot.
