BB is 25/11/1.5 over 200 hands.
UTG+1 is 40/0/0.7 over 1400 hands.

I raised on the flop because I very likely had the best hand and I could misrepresent my strength because the pot is protected by UTG+1 and I thought that this line afforded me the best chance to get to showdown. When BB reraised, I decided that my hand was not best and I was not being offered sufficient odds to draw.

I like it. That's about as cheap as you'll find a 100% correct fold on that board. Well played.

I think you have enough to take one off on the flop, you're getting 16.5:1 and your implied odds should be enough to make this call slightly profitable as you can trap UTG+1 if you spike a 7 on the turn.

Yes, I think you are right. I would only need to earn 3 big bets on the later streets to justify the call.

3? You sure about that?

45:2=22.5:1

Getting 16.5:1

Would need 6 more SB without implied odds. So I need to collect 6 more SB or 3 more BB on the later streets to justify a call.

Right?

did you consider just folding on the flop, BB raised that is strong, there are a lot of people who saw a flop. when it gets 3 bet then as you say maybe it's time to peel one more off.
