Stealing 3-5BB vs Pushing

Is it me or do people respect 3-5BB raises when stealing as opposed to all in raising?

Depends what level the blinds are at. If it is early you are better off just making a standard raise. When the blinds get big pushing is the best option.

Vs some opponents a minraise in level 5 is much more scary than a push.
