I don't like my river play. Anything you do differently?

I might check raise all in on the flop...but I don't think i would make that turn bet. It's a little strange. Think about it from his point of view. The only thing he could maybe think, that might help you, is that you're protecting yourself from the 2 flush draws...but then you should have bet more. I don't know, I don't like draws unless they are big enough to get all the money in on the flop with a definite edge. And I don't think the turn gives you 5 more outs, maybe just 2...hell maybe none.

c/r all in flop - pot is significant - adds 35% to your stack, takes you from 5th at start of hand to second + you are in good shape most times you are called.

I bet more on the turn, a pot-sized bet. The 4 coming there means that you can add to your outs three aces and two fours in addition to any heart, a good place to make villain pay or take it down right there.

As Nick pointed out, it would be too generous to add the full 5 outs. I think 2.5 is reasonable.

[/ QUOTE ]What are we putting villain on here? If it's a straight or a set he is being a complete moron slow-playing with the draws out there.

You don't have to put him on a specific hand. His range of hands includes hands that take away some of A and 4 outs. QJ, JT, KJ, JJ, AA, AK, AQ, and AT all make my ace outs obsolete, and any set or straight negates my 4 outs as well.

Come on. Are his actions - preflop and on the flop - consistant with AA or KK assuming villain is even semi-competant? You're seeing ghosts.

Ok, you can take AA or KK out of his range if you think that's necessary, that doesn't have a very large effect on the outs estimation.
