I have a few movies at my disposal, none of which I've seen. A few from Netflix and a few I recently downloaded. Help me choose. Some are long, time is not a factor, unless a movie exceeds 209 minutes.

Eyes Wide Shut imdb (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120663/)
Million Dollar Baby imdb (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0405159/)
Blue Planet: IMAX imdb (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0099158/)
And the Band Played On imdb (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0106273/)
Beautiful Girls imdb (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0115639/)
Seven Samurai imdb (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0047478/)
Rushmore imdb (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0128445/)

I have seen exactly zero of those movies....unless you say that seeing some clips of Seven Samurai in high school lit counts.

Eyes Wide Shut is only good if your eyes (and ears) are shut while you watch (and listen). A truly dreadful movie.

It . . . . could . . . . . have . . . . . been . . . . . an . . . . . hour . . . . . shorter . . . . . if . . . . . Nicole . . . . . Kidman . . . . . didn't . . . . . talk . . . . . like . . . . . this . . . . . in . . . . . it.

If you're in a relaxed, patient mood, Eyes Wide Shut is amazing. Don't watch it if you're in the mood for clockwork orange II though.

i'd say rushmore or million dollar baby, depending on which end of the spectrum you're looking for.

You really ought to check out the Seven Samurai sometime. But if you are worried about a movie just because of it being 210 minutes I'd definitely say the Seven Samurai isn't the right pick, it is rather slow paced through the first hour and a half or so.

Nah, that's not it. I watched Das Boot a few weeks ago, had no problem with the length.

42 minutes into MDB. Good movie.

Eyes Wide Shut was absolutely horrible. Kidman taking 4 seconds per word was insanely annoying. This movie making no sense whatsoever was also annoying. Blue Planet was cool. Seven Samurai I will try and fit in tomorrow.

I recently had no idea who she was until I saw Garden State. I loved her Character in that movie, aswell. She's a bit younger in this but still great in it. Netflix it if you have it, or just rent it. It's good.

What are her other good flicks? I have Leon in my Queue. And for the record I'm a Lacey Chabert man.

Don't thank him until after you see the movie. Closer is truly one of the biggest pieces of crap I've ever seen. Seeing as you like Lacey Chabert watch Not Another Teen Movie instead. You won't be nearly as bored.
