Is this a pretty ridiculous move?

I like it. You have 1200 chips and really need to make a move. If either of your opponents had 99-QQ they would need to bet to protect their hand. I'm guessing you take this pot down &gt;50% of the time which will make this +EV. When called, a reasonable portion of the time you have 3 or 6 outs.

Not bad I would probably throw out a bet on the flop to try and take it down right there and if I got played back at I would let it go.

i would raise to 350 pre-flop to give utg a chance to fold. i'd bet the flop. i'd check behind on that turn. decent chance you can win by checking it down, and taking free cards is fine for you. why spew?
