Hello everyone. I created a hand history converter for the PokerMentor (http://www.pokermentor.net/) community in which it has been used for a few months now. The bugs and functionality requests seem to have been fixed/implemented so I thought I would let the 2+2 community know about it in case you guys had some use for it. It was specifically made to work with exported hands from PokerTracker and is most useful if you needed to post more than one hand at a time. At pokermentor.net we post multiple hands for them to get reviewed because sometimes you can make a mistake and not even realize it. I know at 2+2, a forum post is usually just one specific hand, but I still thought I would share the software because it is useful (and free).

The program has the ability to skip any hands that were folded preflop to limit the output, which is why most hand numbers have been skipped. This is useful when we want our post flop play analyzed and are comfortable with our preflop decisions.

In any case, I hope you find it useful and if you run into any issues go ahead and post in the forum thread where you downloaded it so the issues (and updates) are all kept together.

- some minor bug fixes
- 2+2 formatting now uses the suited gremlins (/images/graemlins/spade.gif/images/graemlins/diamond.gif/images/graemlins/heart.gif/images/graemlins/club.gif)

More of a personal preference. With the /images/graemlins/spade.gif /images/graemlins/diamond.gif /images/graemlins/heart.gif /images/graemlins/club.gif thingys, I would prefer plain bold black for the cards rather than the 4 colour variants now that the shapes are used.

Also, there is alot of colour changes which looks wierd, perhaps have the whole phrase the same colour rather than the player black and the action colour coded e.g. '1 fold' would be all red and UTG bets would be all green.

Also, heros actions could be coloured with hero so its all blue?

Its a great program /images/graemlins/smile.gif but these changes may smarten it up, again just my preference.

Great job! Thanks for sharing.

I have a suggestion that I don't think would be hard to implement. You should have a link to the converter just before the HH, ala bison's converter. This way people don't have to hunt down this thread or ask someone for a link -- they just find a hand post with this converter.

Hey guys, thanks for the feedback. I just found out 2+2 reply notifications were getting caught in my spam filter so I am a little late with responding.

Womble, the card graphics are limited to the Instant Graemlins which are color coded. I looked into having the player match the action color, but it would take some considerate restructuring of how the code works right now. I may have some more free time in August to tackle this.

Greg, I made it so the link to the converter thread (on PokerMentor.net) is at the top of the converted hands. So potential users can download it easily now, thanks for the tip.
