I just deposited there, and I'm playing some .5/1 and it's tight as hell. Folded around to me at least 3 times, lots of blind stealing etc.

Yeah, my experience is that its quite tight in the mornings. It loosens up in the afternoon, especially ~3:00 ET when it's prime time in Europe, although the games are still tighter than they are during US prime time.

Party during the night and Party during the day is (literally) a night and day difference. The day games are still easily beatable, but I would guess that if you only played during prime time, it would add 1-2 bb to your winrate. It's that big a difference.

You are right jrz. It is truly awful right now. I just stopped playing and I will resume tonight when the tables get fishy What made this session worse is that I was playing two-tables, and of the 80 or so hands I got, I only played 6. Lol. 6/80. That's pretty colddecked. I haven't had a session like that in at least 2 or 3 months.

Anyway I will resume tonight and I hope the tables are better, because right now Party is disappointing.

Btw Jrz, do you find that weekend mornings are better than weekday mornings? Like is Saturday or Sunday around noon-3pm EST a good time to play?

So if I'm playing mainly during the daytime 10-17 CET, then I'm completely missing out on prime time.?

I don't know what the hell 17 CET is, but if it means 5 pm, then yeah if you're playin 11 am-6 pm central, you are missing out. It probably gets better towards the end of that session though.

I've been playing pretty much at every hour of the day. 7am MT to 1am MT. Seems there's always someone there to pay you off. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

I don't know anything about Central European time. I thought you meant Central time here in the states. If you're in like Britain or something and 5 hours ahead, then I'd think 5 am -12pm our time is pretty bad for you to play. The first two hours might be okay, but then it should get pretty rocky.

Yeah the weekends are pretty reasonable. I seldom have much trouble finding 30%+ VPIP tables even on Saturday mornings.

Table Selection.

Yes the tables are rockish. I came across three last night which were under 12%, then found a LAGfest table of almost 50%.

But there are decent tables at any given time. Keep moving around until you come across one. Typically I'll leave a table if it gets under 25%.

Party isn't the Rock Garden everyone would have you believe at midday.

No not a rock garden but it could be the reason why I don't think people are throwing money after me like it seem to be with you.

I've come across quite a few decent players.

How do you figure out the table V$IP% ..??

I live in Denmark so that would be the same time as for britain. So if I play from 10am - 8pm (my time) what would that be in the states..?

Switch tables. They've got hundreds of .5/1 tables and I promise some of them are fishy.

Correct. I'm sitting at 31018 and it's plenty fishy for my tastes. Come join me. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

I play every day in the mornings at work and I never have trouble finding a table.

Well, first, you get a very large notebook, 3 sharpened #2 pencils, and a 32oz Gatorade...

Then...
