When should I lay this down?
BB is an absolute retard ULTRA LAGGY, I watched him throw away $500 in a matter of 2 hours (mostly to me, bringing me from -450 on the day to +50 on the day). Villain is loose preflop and somewhat aggressive (1.25)

EDIT: Is a cap 6-handed with a non-nut flush bad? What about with this board?

BB will have a straight or a smaller flush MUCH more often than a higher flush. Id 5 bet this river if i could given your read.

I would lay this one down preflop. But after that there is no way you can fold it.

I usually fold this preflop to a raise as well, but UTG enjoyed raising a lot (+28%)

Also, the cold caller and the fishy BB helped my odds.

You can't fold it...you weren't raising on the river so you probably got screwed by a retard raising a crappy straight against button's flush that is higher than yours, but oh well, it happens. The only possible way to get out of this cheaper would have been if you threw in a raise on the river yourself...that might have scared someone with the non-nut flush into just calling, but i'm not sure.

Your pre-flop cold-call is really bad, even if he's a LAG you're going to have to hit something to win, you need showdown value pre-flop against players like this (so high cards or pairs), JTs won't cut it.

I don't like your turn call at all, just raise, there are lots of made hands that the button could raise the flop with and then just call when the worst card in the deck falls (putting a 4-straight and 3-flush on board) and the pfr and flop bettor leads into him again.

If UTG+1 calls, this turns into a one of those rare cold call situations for me. Thoughts?

Depends on the other players but yeah, it could be correct to cold-call.

I'd raise the flop to try to get it heads up with the retard, because pairing either of your overcards will be enough for taking down the pot more likely than if it's 3-way

To answer the OP question, when Button caps the river.
But its too late by then.
