Good choice, after this season is over I won't either. Season 1 was good, season 2 was ok, season 3 was a joke. Season 4 and 5 has to be even worse than battle of the sexes (worst non celebrity poker I ever watched). Thank god for wsop! I wish they start broadcasting more good poker like american poker championship and poker at the plaza. Those ones are by far the best non wsop I seen. Low blinds, good players, good play and good commentary.

Van Patten/Sexton are annoying. I hate it that the tv table is only 6 handed. I hate it that they edit out the blind stealing. The camera work is weak too.
I just got season 1, disc 1 in the mail from net flix, and they actually show a lot of good hands, and blind steals.

I guess Bob Stupak bothered me a little. The Dentist Move-in specialist was kind of crappy (Cal?). Cloutier's a donkey so I usually don't enjoy watching him play. Boring guys bother me more than the 'usual suspects'. I happen to like most of the universally disliked players.

It's a great call bringing this up with Corey wannabe Hansen. It's one thing to so blatantly copy someone, it's another to do it when he is 2 seats away. I mean, what's your goal, to go home and say, "dude, you played like Hansen, everyone was saying it."

There's too many to name one. I like the final table concept, and more than the pathetic WPT 6 way:

1. Corey - he took it to another level for me
2. Leibert - she was tolerable until the PokerStars tournies, now she is really #1 since Corey is a 1 hit wonder.
3. George - "Crete forever". I actually hated him more than Toney G.
4. Tony G. - mainly because is was so over the top. Parts of him were funny, but when you are such an ass it's uncomfortable to watch, that's it...especially against the classy Sunar.
5. Randy Jensen - great call. I would not have thought of him had I not read the posts.
6. Mike Matasow - the cry baby face against Flack...might be the best ever.
7. Here's my wild card - that Yale dude (at the table with Hellmuth and Hoyt in Foxwoods, I think...right of dealer).
8. Laak - is a lock. Just becuase guys like him are making TV poker a joke. I would throw people like him and Tony G out of the casino.
9. D'Agostino - and I used to like him, but the final table melt down at US Poker Championships was so ridiculous he must be at this table. Geee...never had a bad beat before? Here's a hint, when you have 10x the rest of the table, stay out of the way.

And let me throw this out there, hope I don't kill my credibility in doing so: I thought Gabe Kaplan called the Heads Up Tourney really well. A comedian, I was expecting comedy, but his analysis was good, and insightful I thought. Tweetle Dee and Tweetle Dum on WPT are just getting old. I'd rather listen to Shauna. Sexton knows his stuff, but his on-air delivery is horrendous. If you were recasting this in 2005, he'd never make it. And Vince is a talking head. Yeah, wired fours...a monster.

Season 1 disc one is good I think. They have the 5 diamond at the bellagio, the la poker classic, and the aruba ultimate bet event. The first two are fairly good, but the aruba event is a joke.

I don't think they are unedited. Its just that they show more "nothing" hands, like blind steals, and hands that are checked down. It seems like every other hand I see on the later seasons is a fireworks hand. Somehow VVP is a little less annoying in season 1, but he's still pretty annoying.
