Alright well it's been a week now, I'm officially worried. Here's the story. Last friday I went out and really tied one on. No biggie, we've all done it, right? Well the next day I naturally feel like complete [censored] and spend the day in bed. Next day, I no longer feel hungover, but I can't shake this dizziness that I get whenever I stand up / sit down etc. This has continued SINCE SATURDAY. I dunno wtf the deal is, but it occasionally causes me to vomit and never goes away. Today I bent down to put my shoes on and was literally brought to the floor. I promised my mom I'd see a doctor (I only have major medical) if this continued for a week. I was hesitant to do this as it will surely be expensive, but I'm almost looking forward to it now. It is seriously impairing my quality of life (I can barely play cards, always feel sick). I have no symptoms of a cold or flu, but have been getting allergies this season when it's super hot out. Oh that reminds me, I wake up every day covered in sweat and sometimes get hot flashes like right now. Help me please.

You might just have an inner ear infection. Of course it could be worse so go to a doctor.

That's a middle ear infection that is known to be extremely painful (and is very common in children). Anyhow, I might be wrong being that I am not a doctor (just a genius) and diagnosed you in a 2+2 post. Regardless, it is important to see a doctor so you don't go deaf if I am right and so you don't die if I am wrong.

yeah, good point. Monday is time for action if I'm not better by then.

Sounds like you have vertigo. Had it once when I was 15. I couldn't walk for 4 days without falling over and had to go to the doctor to get some medication. I wouldn't suggest that you drive to the doctor. Let someone else do that for you.

Still, I've only actually fallen over once, and I only get the serious dizziness when i lay down or stand up. It feels like I have bad circulation to my head or something, I dunno it's hard to explain.

Allow me to back that up big time. I had a cholesteatoma when I was about 8. You can read about them here, (http://www.answers.com/main/ntquery?s=cholesteatoma%20&gwp=16) but basically just know that it's a cholesterol tumor that eats through your ear.

Of course, I'm not going to go out and say this is it, but if it is, and you leave it untreated, you'll end up like me with no eardrum, and no inner ear bones. It makes it pretty hard to hear in stereo, but I have a hardass scar behind my ear. I don't remember much about symptoms from it, but I know I was constantly having ear infections that I didn't feel. Also, I know that at least 2 doctors misdiagnosed me before we went to a specialist.

The only reason I even throw that out there is because even now I get dizzy really easily. It's like when you stand up too quick, and get light-headed, except it happens to me at random times, and it usually involves me blacking out for about 2 seconds, and falling over.

Seriously, go to doctor ASAP.

Almost seven years ago I was presenting with shortness of breath, chest pains, night sweats, sleep paralysis, high blood pressure and more. The military docs kept saying there was nothing wrong with me for almost a year.

Then I had a growth emerge in the center of my chest...very painful to the touch. Again they said it was nothing and gave me some antibiotics.

One month later I went back and they sent me for a CT scan. Wound up being a cancerous tumor the size of a grapefuit in my chest!

My guess:
You have an allergy that is affecting your inner ear. Take Benadryl.

I had a similar experience about seven years ago and it lasted for a week and has never returned. My options were to be awake and nauseous or drugged and asleep. I was well rested after that.

Or brain cancer near the inner ear.

this sounds exactly like my thought process minus the drugging. I'm constantly favoring sleep over being awake and nauseous. Seriously, I'm getting like 13+ hours.

i dont get it, you feel this extremely ill. so you should contemplate on a chat forum with people about your diagnosis?

if that doesnt make you choose a course of action, well then...........c'est la vie

Go to the doctor. In the meantime drink like a metric ton of water.
