I thought this was a risk worth taking, if I could keep the medium stack out of the hand.

big deal MP3 made it 150 which was 10x the BB, if you are VERY LUCKY villian will call with AK and the other 80% or so you are a 4.5-1 dog, the 350 dude goes all in after the 150 raise so you will be a big dog to just that player alot and if he is such a donk that you usually wont be MP3 will realize the possibility you are trying to isolate. if you ever try to defend your play here, quit. now.

what reasoning you are getting 800 chips in against 2 players who have shown obvious strength with 77, i dont care if short stack shows something like kj and mp3 shows ak its worse then awful

[/ QUOTE ] Jesus, freemoney, you need to chill. This is your third comment on this hand, and each comment was kind of nasty. I never claimed it was a good play. I posted it to find out what other people thought, and I gave my reasoning at the time I made the play. That's all.

i am chill but cmon, i make bad plays sometimes, some very gross plays, but thats from tilt, a lapse of concentration, whatever it is, if you need to post this hand because you are unsure of how very bad this hand is then i cant be anything but brutally honest.

[/ QUOTE ] I see in another thread that 8% of your finishes were in 10th place. Maybe you need to start posting some hands. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

my first place is 17%, and my ITM is about 41%, you are a smart boy u can figure out how my ROI is times 6 + about 13 an hour for rakeback, you compare yourself.

do you still really think this was a worthwhile risk?

[/ QUOTE ] I think you're probably right, based on the fact that the medium stack raised 150 chips and was probably pot committed. Had he raised only 90 chips, I'm not certain. Again, had the medium stack folded, I would have had either a comfortable 1300 chips or so (if I lost) or a commanding 2600 chips or so (if I won).

its not a matter of whether or not if the 150 raiser is pot committed its a matter of him announcing he has a big hand. whether he made it 90 or 150 is pretty irrelevant

I would fold here without much thought.

That's a very big "If". Why do you think he was raising 150 in the first place? You're getting called a lot here and a lot of those times, you're entering a world of pain.
