IMO I messed up by playing this hand. I was on 3 other tables at the time and I miscounted my chip stack vs. BB chip stack. I thought I had the larger stack, but in fact I had the smaller stack.

Reads: UTG has been appropriately aggressive with his chip stack. BB has been playing super tight and appears to have been trying to fold his way into the money.

My personal opinion is that since I have such an anemic stack that this is a case where I just play to get ITM and then see if I can get lucky and improve from there. But I would like other posters' opinion on how to handle this situation.

All comments are greatly appreciated.

Take this for what it might be, but I think I fold 100% of the time.

What did BB call with? He should not be calling for his last 10 chips here without a great hand.

Doesn't really answer your question but it is also interesting. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Actually, he should. He wants you to bust. He should 72o to make sure this happens. The only way he's making any money is if you bust here. So, he has to decrease your chances of winning as much as possible with any 2 cards. If he was shorter than you, this is an easy fold, without AA. Since he's bigger, he should call with any 2 and be correct in doing so.

Part of the reason why I fold here.

Oh yeah, I forgot he was bigger to start the hand which means he gets 3rd if the big stack wins.
