Perhaps I should have bet the turn. I normally do HU with a draw, but for some reason I didn't here. 40 hands with Villan, he's very loose, very passive.

Easy fold. Villian is loose passive. You took your free card and missed. Calling down with K-high against a player you only have a marginal read on is bad.

In spots like this, where I checked the turn with outs and then the inevitable bet came on the river after I missed, I often want to call too. And I think maybe I should, more often than I do.

However, in this particular case, when your very passive opponent already led into you on the flop and led again on the river after an ace fell, all despite your preflop raise, I doubt you'd be good often enough.

I don't think you'll be winning against a Loose passie here much. I'd fold.

I'd probably call out of stubborn-ness/curiosity.

of course, i'd be wrong.

Villain whiffed a check-raise on the turn. Fold. The times he has a pair here outnumber the times he's on a total bluff. I can't see K-high being good 1/6 of the time. Maybe 1/10th?

Ugh - fold....whiffed on the free card and have K high. I cannot think of a hand you beat here.

Bettting the turn might not be so bad. You might get a fold. If not - You have alot of outs. 3 king outs, 4 Q outs, and 4 7 outs. Your Jacks might not be good. 11 outs+J's. Betting the turn here might be alot better. You will probably get a free showdown on the river with your K high if you miss.
