PP $33 No reads on Villain, but hadn't seen him do anything silly. Blinds 100/200
Villain 1700
UTG 2200
Hero 2900
SB 1200
Hero's dealt A7o
UTG folds, Villain raises to 500, SB folds, Hero?

I would fold. Pushing over the top is an option but the blinds are still only 100/200, so the 1200 is not so desperate that he has 3rd "tied up" just yet. Therefore he's likely to call. Your current chip position is very healthy and you can bully by being first into many pots, without having to get into battles like this.
I fold. If he's just stealing, good for him. Get him back later.

Borderline push or fold. I think I lean towards pushing.

The just barely more than a min-raise smelled weak, so I pushed and have been regretting it. He called, I was ahead, but lost. Have been wondering if I was reckless, and gather the consensus is yes.

That was always likely to be the problem, that he would call the push, and A7o is never likely to be that far ahead of much, unless it was A6-. In which case, good push, bad beat.

Not a bad beat. KJ, flop AQT.
