Time charge question

Do time charge tables have an equivilant to the half-rake options of percentage rake tables?

Or are short-handed tables screwed?

It seems to me that if you are playing shorthanded at a time charge table you have already recieved a discount in the form of more hands per hour, and more opportunities to play because you are in the blinds, button and cutoff more often. So you get more play for your money at a shorthanded table.

Usually the house will offer "half-time". For instance, $3 per half hour if it would normally be $5.

the shorter handed the table is the better it is for the time charge player. you simply get in more hands for the same or less charge if they do that, and thats more money in your pocket.

I was just being lighthearted (ie. if you are not a winning player, nothing is going to help you....especially shorthanded play.)
